Spendra is a local-first expense tracker. It does not require an account and does not sell personal information. This policy explains what information Spendra handles, how it's used, and who it's shared with.
Spendra lets you enter financial records such as expenses, categories, accounts, budgets, recurring items, templates, tags and notes. These records are stored in a private iCloud database and synchronised across your devices. Apple Watch quick-add transfers entries to the paired iPhone through WatchConnectivity before they sync.
Optional features may access data only when you choose to use them:
Spendra does not connect to bank accounts and does not provide exchange-rate conversion. The app does not include developer-operated analytics or advertising services in this release.
Your financial records exist so Spendra can show you your spending, budgets and trends — that's the core purpose of the app. Camera access is used only when you choose to take a receipt photo. Selecting an existing receipt image does not require camera access. Face ID protects access to the app if you enable it. Notifications deliver only the reminders you configure. Siri and App Intents receive only the details needed to perform the expense action you requested.
Spendra does not send your financial records to the developer and does not include third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising services in this release. Apple may process purchase, App Store and device-service information under Apple's own terms when you use Apple services or make an optional in-app purchase. Spendra does not receive your full payment details.
You control retention and can delete individual records or reset all records from Settings; record deletion propagates across synced devices. Preferences and settings remain device-local. Removing the app may also remove its locally stored data, subject to the operating system's backup and restore behaviour.
Spendra is a general-audience personal finance utility and is not directed to children.
